About Us
Chanmyay Yeiktha Meditation Centre (Singapore)
Chanmyay Yeiktha Meditation Centre (Singapore) is a Buddhist community dedicated to the study and practice of the Buddha’s teachings, with an emphasis on Vipassana—or insight meditation—in the Theravāda tradition.
Inspired by the teachings and guidance of the late Venerable Chanmyay Sayadaw, we encourage the cultivation of mindfulness, wisdom and loving-kindness. Our aim is to help people bring greater awareness, compassion and peace into everyday life.
Our Mission
To make the Dhamma accessible and support those who wish to develop ethical conduct, concentration and wisdom through sincere study and practice.
Our Activities
We bring our community together through meditation retreats, Dhamma talks, chanting and opportunities to practise generosity. Our activities include offerings to the Sangha, Buddhist observances and the sharing of merits.
Through these gatherings, we support one another in learning the Dhamma and putting it into practice.
A Welcoming Community
Whether you are new to meditation or an experienced practitioner, we welcome you to learn and practise with us. We aspire to provide a supportive environment where people from all backgrounds can explore the Buddha’s teachings and grow in understanding.
May our efforts contribute to the peace, happiness and well-being of all beings.
